Vince DiDonato is an unmarried Middle aged man who spends
most of his time doing as llittle as possible at Centennial Casting,
the metal casting shop he owns with his mother. When mom
suddenly dies, he inherits the shop and is thrown in to the front
office, where he discovers a pile of actors' headshots, sent over the
years by actors mistking the metal casting shop for a theatrical
"casting" agency. Vince is struck by the photo of Edie Keaton, a
down on her luck actress turned waitress. When Vince's assistant,
Doo-Doo sees his interest in her, he set up an "acting interview"
hoping it might lead to a date. When Edie comes for her "audition",
Vince falls head over heels for her! What will happen when Vince
is only posing as a casting director?? Will love triumph or will the
characters drown their sorrows in cannoli's??
